Financial Controller

Our client, operating in fintech, is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team of professionals. Reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors, the chosen candidates will be responsible for: 

Responsibilities: 

• Providing leadership to develop short and long-term strategic financial objectives
• Providing timely and accurate analysis on budgets and financial forecasts
• Implement and monitor policies and procedures within the company
• Maintain cash flow management 
• Ensuring timely reporting to the regulators (including MFSA and Central Bank)
• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
• Enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results
• Coordinating the annual financial audit

• PQ'd by the MFSA or Eligible to be PQ'd
• Meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines
• The ability to work independently, and eagerness to continually improve processes and procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Fully qualified and warranted accountant
