Accounts Executive (Definite - Part-Time)

Michael Debono Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their team on a part-time basis.

Overview:
This is a definite position for six months on a part-time basis.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Accounts Executive will be responsible for the following.

Key Result Areas & Accountabilities:

• Posting of purchase invoices
• Posting of bank movements
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Monitor the status of payments by debtors and chasing
• Issue Supplier payments
• Preparation of management accounts
• Submission of VAT returns, FS5 and FS7.

Essential requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
• Organised and pro-active
• Minimum of an ‘A’ level qualification in Accounts or partly qualified in ACCA
• A high degree of integrity and ability to work effectively in a team.
