Financial Accountant

A reputable client of ours, an international financial services entity based in Malta specialising in the insurance sector, is currently looking to onboard a Financial Accountant to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Assistance with the treasury function including investments and cash flow monitoring
• Payments processing including uploads on a banking platform
• Account receivable and payable processing
• Preparation of management accounts, including system postings and related reconciliations
• Assisting with external audits and internal audits
• Additional ad-hoc reporting as requested by management

• Previous experience working in a similar role will be considered a strong asset
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• A good team player with excellent intercultural skills and a positive attitude
• Detail-oriented and accurate

• Must be in possession of a University Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA, or in the process of obtaining such qualification
