A reputable client of ours, an international financial services entity based in Malta specialising in the insurance sector, is currently looking to onboard a Financial Accountant to join their team of professionals:
Duties:
- Assistance with the treasury function including investments and cash flow monitoring
- Payments processing including uploads on a banking platform
- Account receivable and payable processing
- Preparation of management accounts, including system postings and related reconciliations
- Assisting with external audits and internal audits
- Additional ad-hoc reporting as requested by management
- Previous experience working in a similar role will be considered a strong asset
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- A good team player with excellent intercultural skills and a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Must be in possession of a University Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA, or in the process of obtaining such qualification
