Financial Accountant

An international Fintech company is currently on the lookout for a Financial Accountant to join their team 

Duties include: 

• Prefund liability monthly reconciliations bank vs processor. Investigating and clearing of any reconciling items
• Coding and posting into NetSuite client and own funds bank accounts.
• 3-way Cardholder monthly reconciliations. Investigating and clearing of any reconciling items
• Monthly VAT reconciliation and corresponding with Vat agents.
• Downloading of monthly statements for all banks.
• Accounts Payable P2P process including obtaining relevant approvals from budget holders and finance, organizing payment runs, coding of invoices and POs and timely payment of suppliers.
• Reconciliation of purchase ledger 
• Coding, posting into NetSuite for all ledgers and monthly bank and purchase ledger 
• reconciliations.
• Taking part in various value-add projects and other tasks as required.
• Liaise with the Auditors during the audit as required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Financial Controller in Gibraltar and Malta.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting function
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate Excel skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• Partially qualified through ACCA or similar
