Finance Manager ( Chinese speaking )

A client of ours specialising in the Manufacturing sector is looking to onboard a Finance Manager ( Chinese speaking ) to join their team:

Duties:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational improvements.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements under GAAP standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting deadlines.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to optimise operational efficiency.
• Analyse product costs, including materials, labour, and overhead, to identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
• Monitor working capital metrics and implement strategies to improve cash conversion cycles.
• Forecast cash flow projections and recommend actions to mitigate cash flow risks.
• Evaluate capital investment opportunities, including new projects, acquisitions, and capital expenditures.
• Conduct financial modelling and ROI analysis to support investment decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial feasibility and strategic alignment of proposed investments.
• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposure.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting the manufacturing sector.

• Minimum of 8-10 years' of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting principles, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. ACCA accreditation ideal
