Finance Manager

One of our clients, specialising in the Construction sector, is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their team:

Duties:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Completion and submission of VAT and tax returns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency or improve internal controls.
• Monthly processing of the Works In Progress function relating to all projects.
• Payroll analysis, budgeting, and monitoring of productivity.
• Liaising with external auditors.
• Contribute towards the budget preparation, year-end, forecasts, cash flows, and monthly/weekly departmental meetings.
• Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary companies, especially their control systems and transaction-processing operations.
• Participate in strategy setting with the directors and senior management.
