Credit Control Clerk

Our client in the Shipping, Transport and Logistics industry is looking to recruit a Credit Control Clerk to join their team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Handling the issue and forwarding of statements 
• Track payments and chase for outstanding invoices
• Handle account reconciliations 
• Posting of receipts and payments
•  Oversees changes in relation to payment patterns 
• Assist to ensure all client accounts are in-line with the credit terms 
• Handle issues in relation to payment collections 
• Set up payment plans 
• Keep up to date with new credit requests 
• Assisting with the day to day

• At least one year of local experience in credit control
• Good communication and negotiating skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools especially Excel and Word

• A level standard of education in Accounts or equivalent
