Client Accountant

Rosemont (Malta) Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis.
 

Job role:

We are looking for a Client Accountant to strengthen our Client Accounting Department. The selected candidate will join a team of professional accountants and will report to the Directors.  Applicants for this post must be energetic, willing to learn and develop further their career.


Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting records for a portfolio of clients
• Acting as a liaison to a portfolio of clients and addressing their queries
• Handling tax reporting, payments and liaising with tax authorities
• Handling VAT compliance and preparation
• Liaising with the local authorities
• Providing accounting consultancy if required
• Providing payroll support to some clients.

• Applicants must possess or be in the final stages of obtaining an Accounting Qualification (University Master in Accountancy / Bachelor's Degree with Honours / ACCA.)
• Applicants must have a minimum of 2 yearsyearsrience in accounting.
• know about Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel
• Have a sound knowledge of the IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards
• Able to work on own initiative and in a team whilst also adhering to deadlines
• Have excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Be fluent in written and spoken English.
