Our client, operating within the travel, leisure and retail is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Issuing of invoices and customer statements
Debtor chasing
Posting of cash, cheques and bank receipts
Performing bank reconciliations
Preparing and submitting of VAT returns
Issuing purchase orders
Processing of payment runs to suppliers
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Posting of payroll entries and submitting FS5
Reconciliation of purchases, sales and cash transactions
Assisting during the audit process
Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Requirements
Minimum three years experience in a similar role
Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese
Education and Experience
A minimum A level standard of education is required
