Michele Peresso Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) responsible for overseeing and driving all aspects of financial management and planning, including, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
The CFO will play a crucial role in strategic decision-making and risk management, providing financial insights and guidance to drive the company's overall financial performance and operational excellence. 

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will be responsible to:

  • Drive the financial strategy and planning, developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and long-term vision
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular forecasts to support informed decision-making
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to the board of directors
  • Conduct financial reviews and risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage the company's capital structure, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and maintaining a healthy financial position
  • Implement effective risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate financial results and insights to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and regulatory authorities.


Skills and Experience we are looking for include:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive financial leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and strategic planning together with in-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and forecasting methods, with the ability to make sound financial decisions
  • Exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrating highly ethical and professional competence.
