Accounts Payable Clerk

Mercury Towers Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.

OVERVIEW:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is an integral position responsible for handling part of the financial processes of the organization including helping to make sure all bills are paid in an efficient and timely manner.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Entering invoices into the accounts payable system
• Processing payments
• Filing and maintaining supplier records
• Checking and verifying invoices
• Preparing cheques for payment
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• The right candidate must have excellent communication skills & a positive professional attitude
• Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
