Accounts Officer

Our client, a leading Tourism Industry, is looking to recruit a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to play a key role in managing financial operations. The selected candidate will report directly to the Managing Director since it is a small team to ensure smooth financial processes, accurate reporting, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities
• • Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare management accounts.
• • Prepare budgets and forecasting
• • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• • Develop and implement internal controls and procedures
• • Provide support to other departments as needed
• Chase debtors and liaise with overseas operators as necessary.
• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory periodic returns

• At least 2 years of local experience
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience using SAGE will be consider a strong asset
• Previous experience with management accounts, payroll and ideally budgeting

• Minimum A’ level in accounts or similar qualification
