Accounts Officer

Grasswood Entertainments Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
This role requires a proactive individual with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess effective communication skills for collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily Payment Provider reconciliations on a transaction level
• Investigate and follow up on any discrepancies with the payments team
• Review player financial activity and all transactions to minimize financial risk and fraud cases
• Check and post PSP charges, refunds, and chargebacks
• Reconcile and monitor Payment Provider settlements
• Initiate funding or withdrawal of PSP balances
• Involved in the preparation of the daily/weekly payment run
• Liaise with Payment Service Providers and the Fraud and Risk team to address identified discrepancies
• Assist with Revenue Reconciliations during the month-end process
• Support financial reporting and analysis
• Work on other reporting as required
• Undertake additional ad-hoc duties as necessary within the department.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Previous use of Sage will be considered an asset
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
