Accounts Officer

Airhub Airlines Ltd is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The ideal candidate should have accounting experience in Malta. The role will compose the responsibilities of keeping daily company accounting records, working closely and supporting the Finance manager when needed. This position is ideal for those who already have experience but also for those who are early in their accounting career and want to learn more and progress in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Preparation of reports in carrying out supplier reconciliations, where applicable
• Assisting in both month-end and year-end processes for both internal and group reporting
• Assisting the finance team in carrying out ad hoc tasks
• Assisting with the Preparation of VAT and Tax returns and Recap Statements.

• Work experience in an accounting role
• You are computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Excel
• You are a team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• You possess multi-tasking and analytical skills as well as an eye for detail
• You are able to deliver tasks effectively in a timely manner and according to deadlines set
• You possess excellent inter and intrapersonal skills.
