Accounts Manager

A group of companies operating within various industries are currently looking for an Accounts Manager to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and assisting with managing the team

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily accounting operations
• Supporting and assisting the junior accounts clerks with carrying out their duties up to the trial balance stage
• Issuing monthly management accounts for a group of companies
• Maintaining the accounts payable and preparing reimbursement of expenses
• Ensuring deadlines are being met with regard to repayments of VAT and FSS
• Liaising with the HR and Payroll Departments when it comes to movement or on-boarding of new employees in the accounting team
• Conducting yearly performance reviews of the accounts team, managing/approving vacation leave requests and attending interviews for internal recruitment as necessary
• Other ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time

• At least 2 years of previous local experience doing up to management accounts

• Ideally actively studying ACCA
