Accounts Executive, Hybrid

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance? We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Executive to join our client’s finance team, offering a unique opportunity to work on both internal and client accounting. This role provides the perfect balance between managing internal financial processes and working directly with clients, allowing you to gain diverse experience in financial administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Accounting:

• Accurately posting sales invoices and ensuring financial records are up-to-date
• Managing aged debt reports and actively following up on outstanding debtors
• Preparing monthly financial reports for management review
• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure cash flow is tracked correctly.

Client Accounting:

• Processing client invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
• Posting bank and petty cash statements, and conducting reconciliations
• Following up with clients to ensure timely payments
• Assisting with client month-end reporting and reconciliation tasks
• Managing client VAT returns and ensuring compliance with deadlines
• Acting as a key point of contact for client financial queries.

Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of local experience in accounts or bookkeeping
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including invoicing and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Xero and Shireburn would be considered an asset
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with both internal teams and clients.

Salary: €25,000 - €30,000, depending on experience.
