Accounts Executive

A client of ours specialising in the hospitality industry is looking to onboard an Accounts Executive to join and their Finance team in the Accounts Receivables post:

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and process daily financial transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Ensure accurate and prompt entry of financial data into the accounting system.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging summaries and customer statements.
• Generate regular financial reports for management review focusing on receivables.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify transactions accuracy.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Resolve discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide support to the internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
• Analyze and report on variances.
• Implement and uphold internal control measures to safeguard receivables.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounts receivable operations.
• Implement efficiency enhancements in collaboration with relevant departments.

• Demonstrated experience in hotel accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• A' level, Diploma or studying towards ACCA
