Accountant

Our client, operating in the insurance industry is looking to recruit a motivated Accountant, to join their growing team: 

• Preparation of management accounts for group companies.
• Compilation of regulatory and statistical returns.
• Conducting detailed data analysis to support business decisions.
• Overseeing financial reporting processes.
• Handling various administrative responsibilities related to the finance department.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Maltese.
• A flexible team player with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• A first degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification, or in the final stages of obtaining an accounting qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in an audit or accounting environment, with a preference for exposure to the insurance sector.
