Our client, a leading corporate service provider is seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their growing finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients
Completing management accounts
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Liaising with Auditors, Tax and VAT Departments as well as the MBR as required
Ensure that all tasks within the assigned portfolio of clients are completed in accordance with statutory requirements
Liaising with the tax administration team in relation to preparing tax computations, tax returns and tax refunds along with any other tax related matters
Liaising internally to obtain information and documentation to allow for the timely preparation of financial statements and statutory returns
Participating in client meetings in relation to own portfolio
Any other duties which may be required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum two years experience in client accounting
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work as part of a team with a can do attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and preferably Sage 50
Possess the ability to work on own initiative and able to meet deadlines
Excellent multi tasker with the ability to prioritize
Education & Experience
Partly qualified, possess a relevant Degree in Accountancy or in the last stages of ACCA
