DBS Ltd in Malta a bookkeeping company is looking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join its growing team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- The handling of clients' accounts and other corporate requirements as required by the company
- Updating accounting records for clients and processing entries;
- Keeping clients' records up to date and in line with policies related to risk and compliance;
- Filing of accounting and tax documentation;
- Performing of end of month procedures such as prepayments and ledger reconciliations;
- Processing of payments;
- Liaising with clients when necessary;
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and documents in line with accounting standards;
- Payroll calculations for a portfolio of clients;
- Handling of payroll queries;
- Handling any administrative duties;
- Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department.
Education & Experience:
- In the process of obtaining the ACCA qualification or equivalent;
- A minimum of 1-year previous local accounting experience will be preferred;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software or being in possession of ECDL.
Skills:
- An effective team player;
- Organised and diligent;
- Excellent communication skills in English & Maltese.
