Accounts Clerk
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and motivated person, to join our team and be our Accounts Clerk on a full-time basis
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documents. Process accounts payable/receivable, invoices, expense reports, payment vouchers, and reconciled bank statements.
• Reporting: Prepare sales reports and assist in financial statement/report preparation. Support month-end and year-end closings, and generate management reports.
• Operations: Ensure smooth daily operations in the flowers department by receiving and processing orders, coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
• Communication: Answer calls/emails and messages promptly, maintain contact with other departments and assist with customer inquiries, including social media channels.
• Credit Control and Audit Support: Perform credit control duties, including chasing debtors. Assist with audit preparation and provide support during audits.
• CEO Support: Assist the CEO with general inquiries and tasks.
Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Relevant education and experience.
• Knowledge of the Maltese language is a plus.
