Our client, a manufacturing company based in Malta, is currently looking for a new team member for the role of Accounts and Administration Officer. The selected candidate will have a reporting line to the Head of Accounts and Administration in Malta. The person will be responsible for general accounts and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the general ledger and respective reconciliations.
  • Processing of supplier invoices, reconciliation with statements and handling supplier queries.
  • Issuing of purchase orders.
  • Handling petty cash transactions.
  • Other ad hoc office duties.
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Practical understanding of basic bookkeeping
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
  • Very good command of MS Office Applications
  • Self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks to maintain deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills
Education & Experience
  • A’ level standard of Accounts education
  • Practical understanding of basic bookkeeping
