Accounting Manager

Ably Resources Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accounting Manager to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

About the Client:
Our Client is a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy offering a range of legal and accounting services to both local and international clients.

Due to continued expansion, an Italian-speaking Accounting Manager is required to lead a team of accounts professionals delivering services to foreign companies.

Responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling of busy workload; delegating accounting and VAT tasks to the team and ensuring internal deadlines are met
• Cost control and project billing
• Preparing management accounts
• Reviewing the VAT returns prepared by the team
• Completing year-end procedures for complex clients prior to audits
• Acting as a point of contact for clients
• Managing team with respect to hybrid working patterns.

Talent will:

• Demonstrate excellent ability to communicate in written and spoken Italian
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a local corporate services sector
• Possess a formal accounting qualification
• Be effective team leaders with exceptional organisation ability.
