What is expected of you?

• Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in line with accounting standards
• Develop, manage, and analyze budgets, offering insights for effective financial planning and forecasting
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, optimizing tax liabilities while complying with regulations
• Coordinate audit preparations, including documentation, and liaise with auditors for successful audits
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ensuring alignment with company records
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.

What are you expected to bring?

• Previous experience in an accounting role
• Qualified Accountant 
• Strong knowledge and experience with Malta VAT and Tax Law
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational skills, both personal and professional
• Effective team player with strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Self-motivated with a structured and determined work approach
• Fluency in English is a must.
