Accountant (Insurance)

Quad Consultancy in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accountant (Insurance) to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

Main Duties:

• Responsible for the preparation of management accounts for group companies
• Compile regulatory and statistical returns, data analysis, as well as other financial reporting and administrative responsibilities
• Other duties as required.

What skills do you need?

• Hold a degree in accountancy (MQF Level 7) or equivalent professional qualification or be in the final stages of obtaining a accounting qualification (Masters or ACCA)
• Have previous work experience in an audit or accounting environment, preferably with exposure to insurance
• Possess excellent IT skills, particularly with MS Excel
• Be a flexible team player with strong organisational skills
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Be fluent in written and spoken English and Maltese.

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
