Accountant

Our client, a leading manufacturing company is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team.

Main responsibilities include :

• Play a central role in delivering month-end reporting, budget planning, and ad hoc reports for the assigned Business Unit (BU).
• Own and support the standard costing model, ensuring accurate data for costing, sales/cost of sales, and other reporting needs.
• Ensure adherence to Finance guidelines and maintain robust internal controls.
• Contribute to the preparation of profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain Nominal Ledger accuracy through balance sheet reconciliations and additional financial controls.
• Participate in direct and indirect tax filings.
• Partner with operational managers as a financial co-pilot, preparing KPI dashboards and analysis for review.
• Analyze labor and material variances to standards, identify key drivers, and collaborate with Department Managers to implement improvements.

• Previous experience working in the Manufacturing industry will be considered an asset
• Cost Accounting knowledge and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
