Jobsinmalta is owned and operated by Talexio Ltd (‘We’, ‘Us’). Talexio Ltd is a limited liability company registered in Malta with company registration number C50568, having its registered addressed at Capital Business Centre, Entrance C, Level 2, Taz-Zwejt Street, San Gwann SGN3000, Malta.
These Terms of Use (‘Terms’) govern your use of the website accessible on www.jobsinmalta.com (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Site’).

Unless such unauthorised use of the account is the result of gross negligence and / or fraud by Us, you shall not hold Us or any affiliate, undertaking, subsidiary or otherwise connected entity as responsible in any manner.
Unless otherwise stated, We own all of the intellectual property rights of the Site. All these intellectual property rights are reserved. All intellectual property rights for material and content on the Site is the property of entities and / or individuals posting such material and content.
You may view and download content for caching purposes only, and print pages from the Site for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out in these Terms.

We do not guarantee that our Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our Site. You should use your own virus protection software. You must not misuse our Site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Site, the server on which our Site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our Site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our Site will cease immediately.

We are not a recruitment agency and will not be responsible for any recruitment processes, or parts thereof. The Site is an online hub for jobseekers, recruiters, and employers meaning that We shall not, at any stage, be responsible for any stages in the recruitment process between jobseekers, recruiters, employers and / or any other party availing itself of the website, except for the purpose of providing the service under these Terms.
We do not screen or censor any company profiles, curriculum vitae, job descriptions and / or any supporting documents submitted by jobseekers, recruiters and employers.
You agree and accept that the Site does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of other user content or any other communication posted by other users, and nor do We endorse any opinions expressed by users of the Site.
You are encouraged to verify any information exchanged over the Site independently.
Your job application and CV will be directed to the employer by jobsinmalta via your profile on Talexio. Once your CV is submitted to the employer, your information will be controlled according to the employer’s policies which you are required to accept on submission of your application.
jobsinmalta should not be considered a recruiter or employer and any issues or queries should be directed to the employer.
Any information, CVs or supporting documents submitted by you must be accurate and describe you and your details, work experience and qualifications truthfully. You therefore acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of any CV or material forwarded to employers.
jobsinmalta is not responsible for and does not guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of information submitted by employers and shall not be held responsible for the outcome of such information.
jobsinmalta cannot guarantee that your applications for vacancies will be successful and/or acknowledged or responded to. It is up to the employer to respond to all applications directly.
jobsinmalta reserves the right to take any action, including action for damages against any User of this website where such User does not abide by and / or adhere to these Terms and / or any other applicable law or regulation.

You will be solely responsible for the content uploaded and published on jobsinmalta or on third party job boards via the Site. Any job and company description or information uploaded must be truthful and accurate to your company.
Any jobs posted must be genuine, gender-equal, non-discriminatory, and abide by the relevant laws and regulations applicable in Malta. Jobs must not contain:
inaccurate, false, or misleading information;
information which is discriminatory in any form or manner;
include any screening requirement which is not an actual and legal requirement of the job posted;
more than one job or job description in the same advert, unless specifically authorised;
misleading, unreadable, or "hidden" keywords, repeated keywords or keywords that are irrelevant to the vacancy being presented to sell or advertise products or services;
any job which is not based or accessible in Malta.
All adverts posted on the Site and affiliated third party job boards and/or websites via the Site, must abide by the Terms and Conditions of each of these individual job boards and/or websites.
We and the operator of affiliated third party job boards reserve the right to unilaterally remove any job posting or content from the Site which is deemed to be non-compliant with these Terms. Where such job posting and / or content is removed from the website due to non-compliance with these Terms, no refund shall be issued by Us.
Should your account/s on the Site be cancelled for whatsoever reason, any account and company information, billing information and/or saved published or unpublished job advert, shall be retained in accordance with our obligations at law.
Any information, curriculum vitae or supporting documents submitted by jobseekers can only be used for the purpose of the job application. Use or misuse of such information out of context, is prohibited. jobsinmalta shall in no way be held liable for any use or misuse of such information.
You have the option to re-publish on expiry, subject to an additional charge.
You have the right to stop or cancel the advert, however no refund shall be issued by Us.
All payments shall be submitted online through a secure gateway. You agree to submit all data required for payment processing to ensure that all information submitted shall be accurate and correct. However, should such a secure gateway encounter any problems over which We have no control, We shall in no way be held liable. Other payment options are available provided payment is made in advance by bank transfer and communicated to Us. Provided however that in the event the Employer uses another authorised payment option, the payment shall be deemed to be received once the funds have been received in the bank account indicated by Us.
The service purchased shall not commence unless and until payment has been successfully received.
If the Site is down for any reason beyond our reasonable control, no refund, in whole or in part, shall be given. We will do our utmost to ensure the smooth functioning of the services at all times.
We shall not be held liable or responsible in any way for the adequacy and/or suitability of the applications received. We are not responsible for and do not guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of information submitted by jobseekers and cannot be held responsible for the outcome of such information.
jobsinmalta shall only have access to jobseekers’ applications in cases where support is required.
Should your company profile be created by a representative of our team, you must activate their account and accept these Terms by clicking on a link provided via email.
We will only use the personal information of your team members and/or your human resources personnel as set out in our privacy policy.
You agree that under these Terms, you and we are separate Data Controllers, and therefore you undertake to comply with all relevant legislation on data protection, including Regulation [EU] 2016/679 (the ‘GDPR’) and Chapter 586 of the Laws of Malta, the Data Protection Act.
The terms Data Subjects, Data Controller, Data Processor and Personal Data whenever used in these Terms shall have the same meaning as assigned in the GDPR. For the purposes of these Terms, the Personal Data to be shared shall be such information relating to jobseekers for the filling of a job post advertised on the Site.
You agree that upon access to/receipt of any Personal Data relating to jobseekers from Us, you shall assume the responsibilities of a Data Controller for the purposes of the GDPR and shall remain responsible for ensuring that all uses of the Personal Data are in compliance with all applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations. Via the ATS, We provide you with the option to upload your company’s privacy policy or use that provided by Us which you will be responsible for upholding once you access a jobseeker's Personal Data.
You and we agree to provide reasonable assistance, as necessary, to each other to facilitate the handling of any Data Security Breach in an expeditious and compliant manner, as well as the handling of any exercise of Data Subject Rights.
If a provision of these Terms is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.
These Terms shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Us in relation to your use of this Site, and supersedes all previous agreements in respect of your use of this Site.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta and any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Malta.

This Privacy Policy covers jobsinmalta’s treatment of Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) that is collected when you are on the Site, when you use jobsinmalta’s services as well as any other access and/or use of the Site.

This will enable us to provide you with the best opportunities and should save you time in not having to search through information about jobs and services that are not relevant to you. your job preferences including category, level, type and geographical location;

Our primary purpose for collecting Personal Data about you or members of your human resources management personnel is to provide you with the services and features in relation to the listing of situations vacant.
We will receive data directly from you or members of your human resources management personnel in the following ways: through the use of registration forms, contact forms and when you email us your details. Depending on how you interact with us, the personal information we collect from you may vary. This information about you or your human resources management personnel may consist of:

e-mail address;

In the case of job alerts, we will only do this with your permission and to keep you up to date. If you do not wish to receive job alerts from us you have the option to disable the job alerts thereby you are accepting that you will not receive any job alerts.
Please note further to our sharing of your data with prospective employer/s to provide you with the Service, the manner in which any of your personal data is processed by prospective employer’/s is the sole responsibility of that employer/s. The deletion of your CV sent to any employers through the jobsinmalta portal, by way of example,, will be at the discretion of the prospective employer/s. If you wish to have this information deleted or have any other questions, you may contact the prospective employer/s or refer to their privacy notice.
Your Personal Data is processed by us to provide you with the Service. In particular, we collect your Personal Data in order to enable us:
To advertise your vacancies;
To link to jobsseekers via the platform who are the right fit for you or your organisation; and
To contact you about service related announcements.
In the majority of the time, we will be processing your contact details and history in order to answer your queries as well as provide customer service and support, We need to do this to perform our contract with you to your best satisfaction.
Additionally, where you have shown interest, we understand that you would be interested in receiving information about our products and services. Where you have said we can (i.e you gave us your clear confirmation),we would like to keep in touch with you and send you marketing messages via email about services and offers that might interest you., We will never sell your data and we promise to keep your details safe and secure. You can stop receiving marketing messages from us at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email we send you - this way, you will always be provided with an opportunity to opt-out when you receive such information.
We do not, and will not, sell any of your personal data to any third party – including your name, address, email address or credit card information. It is not our business to do so – and we want to earn your trust and confidence.
However, we may share your data with companies which form part of the same group of companies that jobsinmalta for part of (our ‘Subsidiaries’), where necessary for the processing of your requests or to enhance your experience.
Additionally, we may share your data with the following categories of companies as an essential part of being able to provide our services to you, as set out in this statement:
Companies that are involved in the process of getting our services from us to you, such as prospective employers and business (solely in the case of job applicants), as well as payment service provides and hosting providers, amongst others;
Professional service providers, such as advertising partners, website hosts, I.T. consultants, who service us in turn to operate our business;
Credit reference agencies, law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies, so we can help tackle fraud;
Other companies that you may approve, such as social media sites (if you choose to link your accounts to us)
In addition, there may be case where we may disclose Personal Data because we are obliged to, as set out below:
to the extent that we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority;
in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings;

We will seek to deal with your request without undue delay, and in any event within one month (subject to any extensions to which we are lawfully entitled). Please note that we may keep a record of your communications to help us resolve any issues which you raise.
You may delete your profile. By doing so you agree to remove any history related to your job applications from jobsinmalta’s database and will no longer receive any job notifications.
Once the profile is deleted, any applications sent to employers will be automatically removed from the Application List of the relevant employer’s profile on jobsinmalta. You will need to re-register with jobsinmalta in order to submit an application.
Please note that your data will not be removed from any employers’s records you have applied with through jobsinmalta. To delete this data, please get in touch with each employer where you applied.
We take appropriate security measures to protect against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your information. We take integrated steps to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of systems and services processing personal information, and will restore the availability and access to information in a timely manner in the event of a physical or technical incident.
If jobsinmalta learns of a security systems breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using this Website or providing Personal Data to us, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy and administrative issues relating to your use of this site. We may post a notice on our website if a security breach occurs. jobsinmalta may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us in these circumstances.
We will hold on to your information for no longer than is necessary keeping in mind the purpose/s (or compatible purposes) for which we first collected the data. Please note the following information on retention as a guide:
We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you with our service, or to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, as follows:
We will delete your Personal Data from our systems if we have not had any meaningful contact with you for five (5) years. After this period, it is likely your data will no longer be relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. By "meaningful contact", we mean, for example, communication between us (either verbal or written), or where you are actively engaging with our online services and logging in.
Applications kept under the employer's profile shall be automatically removed after three (3) months from the job closing date.
As noted above, once Personal Data of a jobseeker are shared and transferred to the prospective employers, the prospective employers shall become Data Controllers in their own right, and will thus have to abide by their own data protection obligations, including but not limited to, the obligation to store Personal Data for a period that is not longer than the one necessary for the purposes of the data processing. We advise you to read through the privacy notices of relevant prospective employers for more information on retention or to contact them directly.
We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you with our service, or to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, as follows:
We will delete the Personal Data of employers and/or human resources management personnel from our systems, as well as Company profiles, if we have not had any meaningful contact for five (5) years. After this period, it is likely that this data will no longer be relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. By "meaningful contact", we mean, for example, communication between us and the job seeker or employer (either verbal or written), or where they are actively engaging with our online services.
Payment Safety - We do not store credit card information. All transactions are performed through a secure gateway with Acquiring.com and the only records kept by jobsinmalta are transaction details of your purchase records.
Cookies are pieces of data stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit some websites. We use cookies to help distinguish you from other users and website visitors to tailor your user experience.
These cookies will usually store information in the form of a session identification that doesn’t personally identify the user – meaning it will not personally identify you. The Google Analytics Advertising Feature of Demographics and Interest Reporting has been implemented on jobsinmalta. This means that Google Analytics will be gathering demographic (i.e. age and gender) and user interest category preferences when users visit the website. This information is gathered when users browse Google partner websites, through a Google advertising cookie in the user's browser. These cookies help to understand the types of pages that users are visiting. jobsinmalta will use demographic and interest category data to create content and services which better target its users and will in no way use this data at the detriment of its users.
Should users of jobsinmalta want like to opt-out of the Google Analytics Advertising Feature, they can do so from their personal Google Ad Settings, after logging into their Google account, or by downloading the browser extension.
Our site may have a number of links to other Maltese and international organisations and agencies.
