Mediatoday Co Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit Law Reporters to join their team on a full/part-time basis.
Overview:
MaltaToday is seeking law reporters who are interested in court reporting and legal affairs. Applicants MUST be Maltese-speaking.
Candidates must be able to communicate and write in excellent Maltese and English.
The role involves reporting from the Maltese law courts, researching cases and judicial protests, developing legal contacts, and staying abreast of important legal cases as well as generating stories of human interest related to the legal arena or related matters.
Candidates who display an ability to harness the opportunities of online reporting - use of social media, using mobile phone photography, producing first-draft copy for online consumption - will be given preference. This is the ideal job for a 2nd to 4th year law student.
