IT System Administrator

Responsibilities: 

• Providing IT specialist services related to infrastructure, IT support, systems design, and analysis.
• Delivering full IT assistance as required, across various departments and functions.
• Ensuring effective and timely resolution of IT issues, guided by department superiors.
• Managing and configuring user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Assisting in the implementation and improvement of IT policies, procedures, and documentation
• Participating in system upgrades, rollouts, and hardware/software deployment projects.
• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying potential issues.
• Supporting end-users by troubleshooting technical issues both remotely and onsite.
• Liaising with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies to contribute to continuous improvement.

• Good understanding of networking, including subnetting, TCP/IP, and VLANs
• Experienced with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Data Directory
• Basic knowledge of VMware and how virtualization works
• Fluency in Maltese language

• Minimum MQF Level 4 related to IT
• 2 years’ experience in an IT administration and support role
