IT Support Executive

A new opportunity as a Junior IT Support has opened to deliver technical support to users and external business partners while maintaining and optimizing the performance of systems, hardware, and software.

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across all company offices.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate complex incidents when necessary.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, software, and equipment.
• Train and assist users to enhance their understanding and effective use of technology.
• Manage user accounts and access rights in accordance with security policies.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
• Support the implementation of IT security protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system and network performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external vendors to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support / Systems Administration
• Strong knowledge of windows operating systems.
• Must be able to communicate in English and Maltese
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
• A valid Driving Licence is required

Education and Experience

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field.
