Head of IT

Our Client is looking for an experienced Head of IT to join their team in Malta to manage the IT team and technical strategy across the business to ensure strong understanding and cohesion amongst the IT function.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing leadership for the design, direction and management of the IT Function of the Company including team, security and business continuity.
• Drafting strategic plans, policies, projects, operations and costs to ensure that the IT strategy and IT services are fully aligned with and support the Company’s business strategy and meet its business performance requirements
• Accountable for developing and delivering the IT and digitization strategy of the Company. 
• Ensure that the IT and digitization strategy evolves in line with the business strategy and operational requirements of the Company. 
• Accountable for developing and agreeing on the IT budget with the respective Business Owners and Chief Financial Officer. 
• Ensure the continuous rigorous monitoring of all outsourced IT services and relative Service Level Agreements with external service providers.
• Accountable for the development, operation and improvement of IT processes and organization,
  including IT Governance, Business Process Management, IT Service Management and IT Contract
  Management.
• Accountable for the security, back-up and disaster recovery of all information systems, data,

  communication lines and equipment including Cyber Security.
