Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a skilled technical Consultant to join their FinTech department, focusing on their specialist regulatory compliance and transaction tracking software suite. This position involves partnering with corporate entities within the financial and digital gaming sectors to architect, adapt, and launch tailored setups. The ideal candidate will bridge client needs with technical execution, driving global growth for an established software portfolio while maintaining a strong focus on system excellence and team synergy.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory: Evaluate and interpret corporate operational needs to deliver expert advice and tailored system guidance to external stakeholders.
Deployment Management: Oversee and execute the end-to-end setup process, managing platform installations, data connection pipelines, decision-logic rules, operational flows, and platform updates.
Market Evolution: Cultivate and maintain deep domain expertise regarding sector trends to actively guide the ongoing development and enhancement of the product ecosystem.
Pre-Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with commercial growth teams by offering deep architectural perspectives and technical validation during initial client engagements.
Technical Assistance: Deliver ongoing engineering support, diagnostic troubleshooting, and operational assistance to clients post-deployment.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Education: Possession of a Bachelor's Degree (MQF Level 6) focused on Information Technology, Commercial Management, or an equivalent discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years spent deploying enterprise software applications, or holding an equivalent operational background within the financial technology sector.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
Communication Skills: Articulate verbal and written capabilities, with a proven capacity to convey intricate infrastructure concepts to varied stakeholder groups.
Interpersonal Skills: Team-oriented mindset with a natural aptitude for building trust and solving intricate structural challenges in tandem with global peers.
Technical Skills: Deep competency in querying and managing data utilizing SQL, alongside exposure to Linux operating systems, data-driven integrations, and large-scale data setups. Familiarity with anti-money laundering frameworks, web APIs, container tools, or streaming queues is advantageous.
Organisation: Exceptional structural and scheduling capabilities, with the discipline required to handle multiple complex enterprise configuration timelines simultaneously.
