Systems Support Administrator
Foster Clark Products Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Systems Support Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
As ICT System Support Administrator you will be reporting to the ICT Infrastructure Manager and providing for end-user systems technical support and maintenance. As part of the ICT infrastructure team you will be monitoring incoming end user support requests, respond and resolve to ensure minimum user downtime and process disruption. You will also be involved in ICT projects to upgrade end-user infrastructure and software, improve support capabilities and eliminate root causes of user downtime incidents. You will be responsible to deploy end-user systems, perform regular maintenance, maintain technology inventory, and managing ICT consumables.
Key Accountabilities:
Systems & Software Support:
- Follow incidents management best practices to ensure prompt resolution, escalation, and root cause elimination and provide 1st & 2nd level support to end users
- Coordinate 3rd level technical support with 3rd party ICT engineering teams
- Deliver ICT training for end users.
End User Systems Architecture:
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all FCP end-user technology deployments
- Monitor end-user systems performance metrics, security, and non-compliance incidents
- Deploy IT end-user equipment, software, and all relevant updates
- Perform employee on-boarding, off-boarding, and overall user profile management
- Maintain all documentation, inventory, and usage of internal IT systems and ICT consumables
- Support technical investigation to address vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with works with various users and technical resources from different departments to deploy end-user technology projects.
Latitude:
- Modification of practices and procedures and determining own priorities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education:
- MQF Level 5 qualification in Computer Engineering or Computer Systems & Networks
- Cisco & Microsoft professional certifications.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of ICT professional experience
- Experience in systems support server administration and networks.
- Expert knowledge of ICT end-user support and incident management techniques
- Expert knowledge of end-user hardware, software, and peripherals
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office software suite & MS Server Operating systems
- Strong technical knowledge of administration of virtualized environments, Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Active Directory & Office 365 user administration.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN and telecommunications technology.
- Capability to choose required procedures for tasks
- Capability to search for solutions, analyze requirements, and organize work effectively.
