One of Malta's leading manufacturing companies is looking to employ a Systems Support Administrator, due to an internal promotion and growth. The selected candidate must be a quick learner with a can-do attitude and willing to work in a fast paced environment. Working on new technologies and systems is the order of the day while working on some cutting edge machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow incidents management best practices to ensure prompt resolution, escalation and root cause elimination provide 1st & 2nd level support to end users
  • Coordinate 3 rd level technical support with 3rd party ICT engineering teams
  • Deliver ICT training for end users
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all FCP end user technology deployments
  • Monitor end user systems performance metrics , security and non-compliance incidents
  • Deploy IT end user equipment, software, and all relevant updates
  • Perform employee on-boarding, off-boarding and overall user profile management
  • Maintain all documentation, inventory and usage of internal IT systems and ICT consumables
  • Support technical investigation to address vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with works with various users and technical resources from different departments to deploy end user technology projects
  • Modification of practices and procedures and determine own priorities
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years’ of ICT professional experience
  • Experience in systems support, server administration and networks.
  • Knowledge of ICT end user support and incident management techniques
  • Knowledge of end user hardware, software and peripherals
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office software suite & MS Server Operating systems
  • Strong technical knowledge of administration of virtualised environments, Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Active Directory & Office 365 user administration.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN and telecommunications technology
  • Capability to choose required procedures for tasks
  • Capability to search for solutions, analyse requirements, and organise work effectively
Education & Experience
  • MQF Level 5 qualification in Computer Engineering or Computer Systems & Networks
  • Cisco & Microsoft professional certifications
