Systems Administrator

Our client within the iGaming industry is urgently looking for a Systems Administrator within their offices based in Malta.  The ideal candidate will be reporting to, and working very closely with the CTO and the development team to diagnose and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Your responsibilities:

•  Implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting internal systems.
•  Developing and reviewing procedures to maintain security and protecting systems.
•  Developing and maintaining system monitoring and maximizing user experience.
•  Identifying and troubleshooting production issues, whilst providing incident reports.
•  Providing technical support on networks, virtualization, and other systems.
•  Working closely internally for server optimizations and maintenance where needed.

• Extensive knowledge and proven hands on experience using Linux systems.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, network configuration and security.
• Experience in both virtualisations and cloud environments.
• Knowledge in Microsoft and/or Mac will be considered an asset, but not a must have.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
