Join us as an IT Application Specialist, focusing on Project and Application Support within MaltaPost plc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of critical applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement tailored solutions or off-the-shelf solutions
  • Participate in projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain system integrity and optimize performance
  • Stay abreast of industry developments to recommend and implement innovative solutions.


Requirements:

  • Specialisation in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven track record in IT application management and support
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Local residence and driving license.
