IT Administrator

We are currently seeking an IT Administrator who will report directly to the CIO. As an integral part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our ICT department. Working closely with end users, internal stakeholders, as well as external and contract resources, you will contribute to delivering innovative and impactful solutions. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of information technology and computer systems.
• Monitor and maintain internet usage to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Provide technical and applications support to end users, ensuring their needs are met.
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations to ensure seamless functioning.
• Lead and manage technology platforms across the organization.
• Collaborate with department managers to oversee day-to-day operations within the group.
• Plan and execute the smooth integration of new accounts into the business.
• Manage and develop the IT staff through training, coaching, setting job expectations, and conducting performance appraisals.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are in place to safeguard critical information.
• Align user needs with system functionality to contribute to organizational policy development.
• Maintain proper IT documentation, policies, and procedures for future reference and compliance.
• Identify and proactively address problematic areas, implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct system audits and assess outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
• Preserve assets, information security, and control structures to effectively mitigate risks.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required to support the objectives of the ICT department.

Requirements:

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in managing and leading ICT operations in a complex organizational environment.
• Strong technical expertise in IT systems, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop strategic solutions, and drive change initiatives.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• In-depth knowledge of information security practices, policies, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the IT field.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
