DevOps Engineer (Remote/Hybrid)

Our client is looking to recruit for a DevOps Engineer opportunity in Malta. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Part of the team responsible for delivering, upgrading, and maintaining the internal products and all the automation systems.
• Work closely with developers in the design and optimization of various data aspects for company products.
• Install, maintain, monitor performance, and optimize databases.
• Help in the architecture and design of new deployments.
• Ensure database availability, reliability, and proper disaster recovery procedures
• Deploy proof of concept (PoC) for new technologies
• Helps to ensure and build that the required documentation is in place and of good quality.
• Understand the data and be able to help and optimize queries and schema
• Help other teams to access the data and creating reports
