Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
Ably Resources are searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of Malta’s leading turnkey contractors, they are looking for a highly-motivated and driven individual to join the team.  A successful candidate would be responsible to manage all the required tasks that are essential for the billing and quotations for projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review contract terms and bills of
• Prepare claims for each projects progress and project invoices.
• Liaise with other departments
• Prepare and review take-offs for orders and claims.
• Obtain information for claims and present them to the client.
• Prepare client requests for new quotes or extra work
• Liaise with client representative for claim reviews
• Review and submit claims and variations.
• Make a distribution to any subcontractors.
• Provide quotation administration support to the general managers and Directors.
• Evaluate project billings and contracts
• Identify any risks
• Ensure that the technicalities are of standard
• Analyse previous project certifications reports
• Highlight any actions and improvements that should be factored in for future claims.

Requirements:

• Have an understanding of M&E, HVAC, and finishing work
• Have extensive computer skills
• Have strong communication skills.
• Have experience in a similar role.
