Quantity Surveyor
Camray is looking for a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
The candidate will be responsible for the commercial administration of construction projects with particular focus on the measurement, valuation, and financial control of works executed on site.
The role involves accurately measuring and valuing construction works based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions, while maintaining detailed records and verifying subcontractor quantities. It includes preparing interim valuations, payment applications, and financial reports, as well as managing variations through proper measurement, costing, and documentation. The position also requires ongoing cost monitoring against budgets, identifying potential overruns, and supporting cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, it involves overseeing subcontractor payments and accounts, assisting with negotiations, and preparing final accounts to ensure proper commercial close-out, all while maintaining comprehensive and well-organised project documentation.
In addition to the gross wage, a performance-based bonus and commission structure may be offered once company targets are met.
