Commercial & Procurement Officer (Finishings)

Ably Resources (Malta) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Commercial & Procurement Officer (Finishings) to join their Client's team on a full-time basis.

About the Client:
Our client is a busy, reputable finishing contractor undertaking projects throughout Malta.
A Procurement and Commercial Officer with experience in finishing works is now required to join the busy team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing estimates taking into account contracts, budgets, Bill of Quantities and other documentation during tender preparation
• Planning and managing tender submissions
• Obtaining prices for materials, labour machinery 
• Assisting the team with drafting BOQs as per drawings and specifications
• Forecasting costs for materials
• Monitoring and recording changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
• Assisting the Project Manager with preparing contracts for sub-contractors in line with the contract
• Measuring and valuing the work completed on site and raising applications for payment
• Preparing, following up and negotiating the interim and final payment applications to achieve certification
• Organising and managing the compilation and consolidation of the bill of quantities and payment applications
• Certifying works completed and payment applications of subcontractors, (Cfps) 
• Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
• Assisting the Projects Manager to prepare monthly financial reports and projects analysis 
• Preparing as-built drawings, and undertaking on-site surveys as required
• Preparing installation drawings for approval
• Providing commercial support to the Departmental Managers.
• Consistent liaison with the Commercial Manager/ Operations Manager / Project Manager throughout the life cycle of the project.
