Warehouse Supervisor

VF Group in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:

As part of our strategy to strengthen our operations, we are currently seeking to recruit a Stores & Delivery Person to join our logistics team which supports our retail outlets representing some of the premium fashion brands on the island, including Sarto, Twinset, Hugo Boss, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Zegna, Fendi, Moncler, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo and Samsonite.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and motivate warehouse personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members perform at their best.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Implement and improve systems for tracking, receiving, and issuing materials.

Operational Efficiency:

• Streamline warehouse operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and optimize workflows, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to uphold product standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any discrepancies.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.

Reporting:

• Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.
• Provide regular updates to management on key performance indicators.

Communication:

• Facilitate effective communication within the warehouse team and collaborate with other departments to meet overall company goals.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by team members.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Coordinate maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment
• Ensure that all machinery is in good working order to support smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
• Familiarity with inventory management software
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to creating a safe work environment.
