Warehouse Assistant
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the warehouse, handling goods, and assisting with stock management. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities include:
- Issuing of stock and equipment to various departments within Melita.
- Responsible for loading and unloading equipment and supplies using a forklift and van, with the possibility of performing heavy lifting as required.
- Issuing stock invoices and credit notes.
- Strictly adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
- Replacing the Lead Warehouse Assistant when absent.
The ideal candidate would:
- Ideally have an O’Level standard of education.
- Be fluent in the Maltese language.
- Have good computer knowledge.
- Be in possession of a C1 driving license. If not in possession; this can be obtained once employment commences;.
- Be self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Be professional and able to take responsibility.
