Stores & Purchasing Assistant

Hilton Malta is looking for a hands-on, energetic team player to join our Procurement Department. 

This is a varied, fast-moving role at the heart of our hotel's daily operations — perfect for someone 

who takes initiative, adapts quickly, and gets things done. 

About the Role

As a key member of the Procurement Department, you will keep our stores running smoothly, support 

colleagues across Food, Beverage and General Stores, and step in wherever needed in any area of 

the procurement department. No two days are the same — and that's exactly what makes this role 

exciting. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the stores team during high-volume delivery days, keeping everything accurate and 

on schedule 

• Cover Food, Beverage, and General Stores colleagues during absences, maintaining 

seamless daily operations 

• Own expiry date management across all stores — ensuring full compliance and zero waste 

• Assist with stock takes across non-food stores, bringing precision and care to every count 

• Step into the incoming goods receiving function when needed, keeping the supply chain 

moving 

• Handle outside emergency errands using the hotel company car, acting swiftly and reliably 

• Pitch in on ad-hoc procurement tasks as the team and business require 

What We're Looking For

• A proactive self-starter who takes pride in doing things right 

• Sharp organisational skills and an eye for detail that doesn't miss a thing 

• Comfortable multitasking and staying calm in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment 

• Flexible and dependable — ready to cover different stores and functions as needed 

• A valid driving licence (essential for this role) 

• Previous experience in a stores, purchasing, or hospitality operations role is a plus 

• Great communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
