Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Logistics Supervisor / Assistant to help our Logistics Manager run our daily operations. You will be working directly on the ground to assist with warehouse management, daily transport, and client water deliveries. This is a practical, active role for someone who knows how to lead a team and keep things moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Deliveries & Routing: Help schedule daily client deliveries and water distribution, ensuring all paperwork and routing are ready on time.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and work alongside the team handling the loading, unloading, picking, and stacking of stock.
• Warehouse & Inventory: Check incoming imports, verify quantities, and update our warehouse computer system.
• Stock Control: Make sure stock is replenished on time for distribution and help with regular stocktakes.
• Yard & Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of the warehouse, yard, and delivery vehicles.
• Daily Team Meetings: Hold brief daily meetings with the staff to discuss the day's tasks and solve any immediate issues.

Requirements

• Experience: Practical previous experience working in logistics, transport, or warehouse management.
• Leadership: Strong team leader qualities with the ability to manage workers on the floor.
• Problem Solving: A practical mindset to solve daily delivery or warehouse issues quickly.
• Flexibility: Must be fully flexible to work on a shift-work schedule, including weekends.
• Education & Skills: Minimum Ordinary Level standard of education, with basic computer skills for data entry.
