📦 Job Opportunity: Stores & Purchasing Assistant 🚚

We are looking for a reliable and organized Stores & Purchasing Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the company store, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and purchasing or collecting required parts, tools, stationery, and other operational supplies.

You will work closely with suppliers and staff to ensure materials are always available and delivered when needed.

Key Responsibilities

📦 Manage and maintain the company store and inventory

📊 Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of materials and supplies

🛠 Purchase or collect parts, tools, stationery, and operational items from suppliers

📥 Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming goods

📝 Maintain accurate records of stock movements and purchases

🧹 Keep the store clean, organized, and safe

🤝 Coordinate with management and staff regarding supply requirements

💰 Compare supplier prices to ensure cost efficiency

🚚 Deliver materials or supplies to company sites when required

📑 Ensure proper documentation for purchases and deliveries

📋 Assist with stock counts and inventory audits

Requirements

🚗 Valid Driving Licence

🚐 Ability to drive company vehicles for collection and delivery of materials

💻 Basic computer skills for inventory and purchasing records

📅 Good organizational and time management skills

💪 Ability to lift and handle materials when required

✔ Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

 Preferred Qualifications

📦 Previous experience in stores, warehouse, logistics, or purchasing

📊 Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management

🚛 Driving Licence Category C1 (considered an asset)
