Stores Handler

Foster Clark Products Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Stores Handler to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
Assist in providing an operational service toward attaining efficient quality and output in line with production, stores internal activities as required.

Key Accountabilities
Effective support to production, and stores activities:

• Assist the team on the line to achieve the targeted output, at the maximum efficiency
• Use and maintain properly all entrusted equipment and instruments
• Wash and clean assigned areas
• Monitor usage of detergents, and cleaning materials as required while informing the supervisor when the supply of such materials is running low
• Be able to operate a forklift, palletiser and portable hand tools
• Monitor vehicles as per the approved checklist.

Adherence to procedures in line with Company standards

• Follow established processes and procedures
• Conform to OHSE procedures, and make use of all PPE provided
• Maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness
• Strict adherence to FIFO
• Report any breakages or malfunctions to the storekeeper.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Education:

• Company Pre-Enrolment basic test
• Preferred: Secondary level of education.

Experience:

• 1-year experience in a food/pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing working environment.
