Store Coordinator

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing entity, is looking to recruit a Store Coordinator to join their growing team. the chosen candidate will: 

• Accept deliveries of raw materials, primary and secondary packaging, and other supplies.
• Organize and store materials in an orderly and accessible manner;
• Verify the correctness of stock quantities received;
• Record stock data accurately in the inventory management software;
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Production teams to ensure traceability and adherence to quality control parameters for received and stored stock;
• Maintain records of waste, damaged, or rejected stock;
• Rotate stock based on production date, use-by date, and receiving date, following the First In First Out (FIFO) principle;
• Conduct regular stock takes as determined by senior management to maintain accurate inventory levels;
• Establish stock par levels to prevent operational disruptions and ensure sufficient supply of raw materials and packaging for production needs;
• Coordinate with the Purchasing department to place orders and maintain appropriate stock levels;
• Ensure all storage areas are organized and comply with proper cleaning and storage procedures;
• Coordinate the movement of final products between the Production and Distribution departments. providing assistance or direction when necessary;
• Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management within the individual's capabilities.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday

06:00 - 15:00

• Analytical mindset and the ability to attribute received product to conforming specification
• Good organisational skills.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Skills.

• Knowledge or experience in Inventory Management.
• Familiarity with concepts of Stock Keeping, FIFO, Good Manufacturing Practices, stock rotation and warehouse environment.
• Must communicate well in Maltese and English.
• Competent in the use of IT equipment (Computer/Tablet etc)
