Store Assistant

VJ Salomone Consumer Lines Ltd is seeking to recruit Full-Time Store Assistant to join its current team. 

The selected candidate will report directly to the Stores Manager, and the main responsibilities shall include the picking of merchandise according to pick-lists in a timely and professional manner, the preparation of client orders, loading and unloading of merchandise, and carrying out stock movements within the warehouse, stacking the shelves on a daily basis and stock taking. As well as delivering to clients when required.

Although not mandatory, preference shall be given to candidates having the following requisites:

• Ability to speak, read and write in both Maltese and English;

• Willing to learn and possess a can-do attitude;

• Pick merchandise in a timely manner so that deliveries are prepared on time; 

• Assist in receiving and checking all goods received;

• Ensure proper arrangement of all inventory stock items to facilitate product identification, picking and supply;

• Assist in maintaining all store areas/ vehicles to the highest corporate safety and hygiene standards;

• Assist in store inventory and stock taking upon request; 

• Assisting during loading of merchandise; 

• Assist the Store Keeper in all necessary stock movements especially when required to make necessary space for arrival of goods;
