Production Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to join our operations team at our Luqa Manufacturing Facility, Malta (full-time).

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities and leading a team of approximately 30 employees within our Luqa manufacturing facility.

This role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining consistent product quality, and supporting a safe, organised, and high-performing production environment across all manufacturing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervise and coordinate daily production processes to meet output targets and deadlines

* Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, machinery, and materials

* Maintain high standards of product quality and consistency

* Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements

* Enforce health and safety procedures across the production floor

* Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve optimal performance

* Track production metrics and prepare regular reports for management

* Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth operations

* Minimise downtime and waste while maximising productivity

* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process

REQUIREMENTS

* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment

* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

* Ability to lead teams and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Good understanding of production workflows and operational processes
